I work with adults, adolescents, teens, who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss process their experiences, gain empowerment, and motivate them to successful change.
I consider it a joy to witness the healing process as it gradually unfolds and to be a part of the process. I will provide you with holistic support, empathetic listening, and a safe environment to share your feeling. My approach to therapy is collaborative. I will partner with you and assist you with an agreeable treatment plan. I utilize the following modalities Motivational Interviewing, Strength Based Therapy, Solution Focused, Trauma Informed Therapy, and Christian Counseling.
I am a graduate of the University of Houston’s Graduate College of Social Work (GCSW). I am also a graduate of Keller Graduate School of Management (MBA) with Health Services concentration. For more than twenty years I have worked in health care nonprofit, domestic violence, rape crisis center, hospice care, and medical Social Work. I’m currently the Leader over the Behavioral Health Ministry within my church.
Outside the therapy space I enjoy traveling especially cruises, playing my favorite card game Uno, or binge-watching favorite shows. I am the proud mother of two sons.
