THERAPY FOR LATINAS · KATY, TX & ONLINE ACROSS TX & NV

Somewhere along the way, you stopped being on your own list.

You know how to show up, hold it all together, and keep going — even when you're running on empty. What you haven't had is a space that holds you.

That's what Alivio is for.

The Weight You’ve Been Carrying

You've always found a way to keep going. For your family, your work, the people who count on you. And you do it quietly — without complaint, without asking for much in return.

But there's a cost to that. One that doesn't show up on the outside.

It shows up at night, when your mind won't stop. In the guilt you feel the moment you try to rest. In the strange exhaustion of a life that looks fine — and still feels like too much.

You keep showing up — but inside, something's shifting:

  • Your mind won't stop, even when your body is exhausted

  • You feel guilty the moment you try to rest or slow down

  • Life looks fine on the outside — but inside, you're running on empty

  • You're tired of just coping. You want to actually feel like yourself again.

You're not burned out because you're weak. You're burned out because you've been strong in spaces that never made room for your softness.

Here, there's room for all of you.

Meet Your Therapist

You won't have to explain yourself to be understood.

I’m Lizet Orozco, a bilingual Latina therapist and the founder of Alivio Counseling Center. I've spent my career working with women who are used to holding everything together — and who rarely have a space where someone holds them.

I understand the particular weight that comes with being a high-achieving Latina. The family expectations. The guilt. The way you've learned to be strong in rooms that didn't always make space for your full self.

I've carried versions of that too. Which is why this work isn't just clinical for me — it's personal.

In our work together, you won't need to translate your experience or explain your culture. You can just be — and we'll start from there.

How this work helps things shift:

This isn't about fixing you. There's nothing broken. It's about finally having a space where you can slow down, turn inward, and start feeling like yourself again.

What We Can Work On Together

Whatever brought you here, you don't have to have it all figured out. We'll start where you are.

Anxiety & Burnout

You're tired — but you can't stop. Your mind races even when your body is begging for rest. You keep pushing through because stopping feels scarier than exhaustion.

You deserve more than just learning to cope better. You deserve to actually feel okay.

Relationship & Family Struggles

Whether it's your romantic relationship, your family dynamics, or the way you keep showing up for everyone but yourself — old roles have a way of following us. The patterns feel familiar, even when they're exhausting.

There's a way to show up in your relationships without losing yourself in them.

Career Pressures

You've worked hard to get where you are. But success doesn't always feel the way you thought it would. You're still anxious. Still proving yourself. Still wondering if it's ever going to feel like enough.

Your ambition doesn't have to come at the cost of your peace.

Trauma & Past Hurts

Some things don't stay in the past. They show up in how you react, what you avoid, the way you feel in your own body. You may not even call it trauma — but you know something is still there.

You don't have to keep living around it. Healing is possible — at your own pace.

There's no single way to do this. We'll find what fits your life, your schedule, and where you are right now.
