Why Supervision with Me

I remember wanting guidance that was both practical and deeply human — a space where I could bring my questions, my doubts, and my whole self to the table. That’s the kind of supervision I offer now.

As a first-gen Latina clinician, LCSW-S, EMDR Certified Therapist, and EMDRIA-Approved Consultant, I bring an integrative, trauma-informed lens to the work. Together, we connect the clinical with the personal so your practice feels grounded, ethical, and true to who you are.

Supervision with me isn’t about rushing through hours. It’s about building a foundation that supports you long after you’re licensed.

My work is guided by integrity, cultural humility, and a deep respect for the inner worlds we carry — as clinicians and as humans.

My Approach to Supervision

My supervision style is collaborative, reflective, and steady.

This is a space where your strengths are honored, your edges are held gently, and your curiosity is welcomed.

We weave together skill-building and self-awareness using the same principles that guide my therapy work:

  • Trauma-informed care that centers pacing, safety, and the nervous system

  • Attachment and systems awareness to understand relationships and context

  • Interpersonal Neurobiology and Polyvagal Theory to track what happens in our bodies as we work

  • Parts-informed and generational frameworks that bring nuance to clinical dynamics

This isn’t about knowing everything. It’s about deepening your confidence and growing from a grounded place.

Who I Supervise Best

I work best with LMSWs who care deeply and want supervision that feels thoughtful, grounding, and growth-oriented.

You might be:

  • A first-gen or BIPOC clinician navigating systems that weren’t built with your identity in mind

  • A therapist drawn to trauma work, EMDR, or identity-affirming care

  • Someone curious about private practice and wanting sustainable, ethical guidance

  • A clinician who values depth and reflection as much as structure and clarity

If you’re craving a supervision space where you don’t have to code-switch, shrink yourself, or pretend you have it all together, you’ll feel at home here.
